Article Writing Tips – Making The Most Out Of Your Articles

Published by admin | Filed under Writing and Speaking

Everybody screams about duplicate content when it comes to articles. Write an article for a directory and you can only submit it to one. Write an article for your blog and you can’t submit it to directories. Write an article to send to your list as part of an autoresponder and you can’t submit it to directories OR put it on your blog. And the list of can’t do’s goes on as long as my right arm, leg and small intestine all lined up on the Interstate waiting for a runaway deer to take it off into the woods for next year’s Thanksgiving feast. Well, believe it or not, you don’t have to be so strict with your articles, as a lot of what you will hear is just plain paranoia. In this particular article I’m going to give you some tips for making the most out of your articles without having to worry about duplicate content penalties.

The first thing you want to do is write four separate versions of each article. I know this is going to take a little bit of work, but in the long run it is going to be worth it. It shouldn’t take more than one hour to come up with four versions on one topic.

The next thing you want to do is make sure that the article is long enough to split into two parts. To do this, the article is going to have to be between 500 and 600 words long.

After you have done this, you want to take the first part and submit it to an article directory. While doing this, you want to have the resource box point to the second half of the article. Where is that going to be? You’re going to place the second half on your blog. It’s there where you’re going to then make your pitch for whatever product you’re selling or promoting.

Now, you still have three other articles. What are you going to do with them? One of them you are going to use as part of your autoresponder series for your list. In this message, you want to point to your blog where people can then read the second half of the article and see your pitch.

The second article you’re going to submit directly to a site that is in your same niche. Eventually you’ll find one that will accept it, though you might not right away. Again, you’ll only submit half the article with a link pointing to your blog to read the second half.

The third article you’re going to sit on. There are many things you might end up doing with it. Somebody might be looking for an article that they want to buy for their site. This is a perfect thing to keep it for. Maybe you find another site you want to submit yet another version to. That’s another possibility.

By following the above tips, you’ll have plenty of things you can do with the articles you write.

To YOUR Success,
