2007 Trends In Computer Brain Interface Technologies

In man’s quest to increase his brain power there seems to be no shortage of funds for new research. In fact Paul Allen, co-Founder of Microsoft is funding the mapping of the entire human brain. DARPA is funding research allowing the mind to move objects on a computer without wires.

In Europe there are a huge number of research projects in search of ways to link-up human brains with computers for everything from increasing the Virtual Reality Experience to assisting folks moving their prosthesis devices.

As all this research converges and new innovations and discoveries are made we will soon see the first computerized devices or wearable computers hooked directly into our brains which will run the command and control. Imagine being hooked to all the digital libraries, the Internet and to social networks of the world wirelessly, well you will not have to imagine it all that much longer.

All this technology is now inbound and coming in hot almost at the outer marker and cleared to land. Well almost cleared to land, you see there are some groups who do not wish to see this new technology come forth due to religious fundamentalism.

Nevertheless the value to the forward progression of the species is so great that indeed, there is no way to stop it, even if you could find some excuse and wanted too. Many envision a day coming soon where you can get a PhD degree chip to plug and play in your brain. Know every language in the world and have the library of Congress on the hard drive human organic brain interface system. The possibilities and potential killer applications are truly endless.

Join with others and discuss these new technologies and contemplate where they will lead us. Consider this a thought process into the minds of the future.
