Remember, spamming people might be fast and easy, however do you really want to equate your product with spam or junk mail? That’s not a great way to create a name for your product or service. Not to mention, spamming is illegal and more and more people are finding themselves in legal trouble because of it. That’s certainly not any fun and not worth your time and energy. Besides the fact that if you send spam emails you are much less likely to sell your product or service because most people will delete the email before they ever read it. That’s why opt in email marketing is the most effective. That’s because the emails are targeted to people who have willingly provided their email addresses to you.

When people provide their email address to you it’s because they are interested in your product, service, or basically what you have to say. These are the people you want to target through email marketing because they are the ones most likely to buy your product. You may be excited about email marketing and tempted to buy software that harvests email addresses or provides you with other huge lists of addresses you cannot use legally. Don’t go this route even if it is tempting. It won’t work out for you in the end not to mention most people have spam blockers and will never even see your email. Put a little bit of time and effort into your email marketing and it will pay big dividends.

Be creative about , when you use this method you are more likely to have a higher percentage of sales from your email marketing because your emails will make it through the spam filters not to mention people will recognize your email and are more likely to open it and trust you.

Keep in mind there is legislation in the United States regarding spamming and that is certainly not something you will want to play around with. If you are serious about Internet marketing then be serious about email marketing and do it the right way.
